Oh I love to break the rules, I am a bit of a rebel at heart!

Light is probably the most important part of taking a photo.  The basic idea of photography is to turn light into an image.

We are taught right at the beginning of our photography journey to put the sun behind you.  Well, I just love putting the sun in front of me.  If you do this, you need to make sure that your camera settings are correct.  This photo of the sun, was f stop f/11 so that you can get a bit of a flare.

No sun today to take a photo?  Find an artificial light to make a beautiful light flare.
