In this fast-paced, not always kind, world, it is important to find something worthy of celebrating each day. It may be something big. It may be something small. It may be something right in front of you. It may be something for which you have to put effort into the search. We know that even on the worst of days, there is always something good. When you choose to take a photo of those moments, big or small, every day, you have a constant reminder that life is worth celebrating.

The number one goal of 365 Picture Today is to create, nurture, and sustain a community rooted in photography and friendship that shares the ups and downs, joys and sorrows, accomplishments and disappointments, of everyday life through taking a photo a day.

In 2020, our prompts will be loosely based on the National Day Calendar (TM). The National Day Calendar provides us with both serious and silly reasons to celebrate each and every day. We will tie each celebration to a fun and challenging photo prompt. That said, the prompts are merely a starting point. Feel free to use them or not use them. The most important thing with this project is to create a picture of today from your perspective.
