Don't let the setup intimidate you! I placed a flashlight on the counter and positioned my shell at the edge of the beam of light. When you use light and shadows to your advantage it can be a great tool to highlight the intricate details that might get lost otherwise. 

So grab your macro lens, zoom in close, or just crop your photo in post-processing and have some Macro Monday Fun!!
