I think a self-portrait at different seasons would be a great tradition to start, don't you? This wasn't planned. It was a very casual shot with my phone when I found myself in a favorite location in the fall. I love it because of the meaningful setting. 

Take a bit of time today to photograph a wonderful you in a meaningful setting. Don't get hung up on perfection (talking to myself!). Keep it casual. It will reveal the true you and a place you should record as part of who you are.
