I have to believe that love conquers all. It is a conscious choice that isn't always easy, but it helps me to see the good in difficult days. I see love all around me.

A situation may be difficult, but love is woven into the fibres of a scarf my mom knitted for me; it is in the steam that rises from the coffee my boyfriend made for me; love is in nature, in every beautiful flower, whether vibrant, or ones like this that somehow survived a Canadian winter and still holds beauty, if we look for it.

There is something powerful in conquering your thoughts and how you see the world. It isn't always possible, but we can try. And you know what's really special? We get to use our photos to have others see the world through our eyes. Where is love conquering today?
