Since I just moved somewhere new, I am in a phase where my eyes are naturally wide open. Everything is new and exciting! Even the trash looks exotic and fascinating to me. Homes in Asunción, Paraguay have these receptacles in front of them, and the municipality picks up the trash three times a week. You can separate your own recycling, or someone will go through what you’ve discarded and do it for you! Coming from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, a place where there was no municipal trash collection, I am thrilled!
