Street (candid) photography is an art that features chance encounters and random incidents within public places. Though people are usually featured directly, a photograph can also be taken that is absent of people and can be that of an object.
I focused on some derelict chairs in a back lane behind a restaurant. It shows a trace of humanity that says something about life. Although there are no people in the frame, their presence is suggested by the subject matter. I can imagine the short order cooks sitting here while on their break. Can you?
Simplicity is shown in the isolation of the chairs. I further simplified it by using selective colour to emphasize the red chair against a very stark environment.
Take a walk and find a simple street scene of objects that tell a story.
