Attractive is such a subjective word, one that, I must admit, gives me trouble.  In case you find yourself in the same boat, here are a few words that are almost synonyms but, to me, seem a bit easier to get a grip on: engaging, enchanting, interesting, likable...

I love the black hat on this guy.  To me, it is attractive...or maybe fetching is a better word.
