Rivers are remarkable in their ability to carve through rock and stone, prairie and swamps. They twist and turn through cities and meander through countrysides.

This is the Bow River. It starts at Bow Lake in Banff, Alberta, winds through Calgary and then joins the Oldman River, and then the South Saskatchewan River and eventually flows into Hundsons Bay.
