Maman is a bronze, stainless steel, and marble sculpture in front of the National Art Gallery here in Ottawa.  It has to be strong to withstand the winters we "enjoy" in this city.  It is one of the largest spider sculptures in the world and measures over 30 feet high and wide.  It includes a sac containing 32 marble eggs.  Maman is french for mother.  Is there anything stronger than a mother?
