Today seeks to raise awareness about the importance of solidarity across the globe. Solidarity is unity based on common interests, objectives and standards. It also refers to the ties in a society that bind people together as one. In 2005 the United Nations identified it as a universal value.

I’d like to think our shared interest in photography is a wonderfully creative tie that binds us all together and we are unified in our 365 POTD objective!
