Purple is one of those colors that, depending on its context, can elicit feelings on both ends of the emotional spectrum.  It can symbolize power, wealth, and passion.  But, purple is also associated with peace, wisdom, and spirituality.  I find the latter to be be particularly true when purple is experienced in nature.  There is something so calming in seeing and being present with a simple purple flower standing all alone.
