SMILE it’s Selfie Sunday :)

This Picture You Week is all about what’s in the background. Often times we are so focused on what is front and center that we overlook the value backgrounds have in our images. They can help tell the story, set the scene, and provide visual interest. This week focus on the background just as you would the subject!

A few examples of how to add visual interest: 

• Contrasting colors in varying shades and tones to add drama.
• Leading lines will give a sense of movement. 
• Striking elements can show depth of field.
