It's all about the Flat lay this week! What is flat lay, you wonder? It is a type of photography where items are arranged on a flat surface and photographed from above or with a slight angle - think "bird's-eye view" or "top-down" perspective.

As you go through the week, consider the everyday objects around your home, both inside and out. How might you arrange them to tella story? What background will you use? Will it contain a few items or many? Is there a theme? 

For your first Flat lay, let's keep it simple and modern. Just a few items that tell us a little bit about your day.  

Here's mine: It's Snack Time! I used the white countertop as the backdrop and added the cute saying from the kitchen to help balance it out.
