For many of us, this is a great time of year for fireworks. I don't think I will ever look at fireworks and not be in awe. They are stupendous aren't they?

If you have fireworks going off around you, use long exposure to capture them as they crack, sizzle, and fall from the sky. I captured these with 8-second exposure, ISO 200, f11. If there are no fireworks going off around you, perhaps you can find a backyard fire, or even a candle, and get the stupendous, soft glow. I'm sure the results will be stupendous.
