When it snows, I like to go out and photograph snowflakes.  It makes winter more bearable. To me, snowflakes are incredible!  Each one is unique and the symmetry presented in each individual flake is perfection.  

I've always been intrigued by snowflakes and when I saw a video on Youtube featuring Don Komarechka, I knew I had to try to photograph them.  If you want to see some amazing snowflake images, check out his website at donkom.ca.  If you want to try some snowflake photography, there are lots of resources and tips on the internet. 

If it's snowing in your neck of the woods today, why not try and capture the symmetry in a snowflake.  No two are the same!  If not, I'm sure you can find all kinds of other symmetrical things in your world.
