After fifty plus years of life as a professional musician who played the clarinet, I had this deep desire to learn to play the classical guitar.  Having played another, quite different, instrument for so long brings a unique perspective to the learning process.  Since I also study guitar with one of my colleagues at school, the teacher-student relationship is also a bit unique.  I am grateful that I was able to follow this dream.  Sometimes I wish I’d started chasing it a little earlier in life.
