Today is the day we add words to our image. I used Snapseed for my sample picture but there are many apps that allow you to do this.
The word of the day is LUMINOUS! When something emits or reflects light or shines brightly it is said to be luminous.
Why not try taking a night photo today! In my sample picture I took a photo of the Calgary skyline. The easiest way to master a night time picture is to use manual mode and a wide open aperture (2.8-4) in order to gather as much light as possible. Set you ISO to 1600-6400 and use a slow shutter speed (I used 30 seconds) for brightness. If you use your tripod and also set your timer for 2 seconds to avoid shaking your camera, your photo will come out much crisper.
After you have taken and processed your photograph, simply add the words of your choice.
If night photography just isn't possible, find something luminous to photograph!
