Take me away!

Where do you go to get away to take pictures?  I like to do what I call "Off the Beaten Path". On these special days, I pack up my gear and head to places undiscovered or revisit familiar places as if I have never been there before.  Often times I will drive to small towns within a few hours of my home, or walk around my local environment.  Show us the place you "get away" to.  If you can include red in your photograph it earns you the extra challenge points!
