Red is one of my favorite colors.  It is a bold color that helps to draw attention and direct the viewer in your composition.  It can create a focal point in an otherwise busy scene.  

Flowers, bright clothing, fun architecture all can have a touch of red.  I photographed this old train car in a ghost town.  I loved the graphic on the side of it, especially with the red color that it once was showing up throughout my photo.
