I enjoy cruising and have taken photos of beautiful boats in many beautiful places, but this photo is one that will remain etched in my mind for ever.  These are two boats you hope never to encounter on a vacation cruise--a lifeboat on duty and a boat of refugees.  We were in the middle of the Ionian sea when diverted to rescue the 77 refugees.  Our ship took them onboard and carried them overnight safely to Kalamata Greece.  Watching the rescue unfold was a life-changing experience.
