Sweet victory!

Today is technical challenge day and it all about the victory of success.  We are going to use still life photography for this technical challenge and you get to choose what you want to photograph.  We are going to try STACKING...yep, piling 'em up!  

 Choose your elements with an idea as to what you want to achieve artistically.  There are countless items to stack such as fruits and vegetables, dishes, cloth, flowers, and toys to name a few.

How do we stack? Well it is actually easy peasy if you have some patience.  Some items, such as tea cups balance themselves, and others, such as tomatoes might not. There are many 'tools' for helping you to stack.  BBQ screwers and toothpicks are excellent for stacking food. You simply have to shish kabob them!  Play-dough and tape are useful for making things 'stick' together or stand up. A glue gun is also an option if you don't mind using it on precious items.  You may be good at balancing and juggling items with no help at all. 

Some of the things you will want to consider are: size, texture, shape, background, lighting and overall theme.  Treat it like a still life and get stacking! I hope you have a victorious stacking experience.
