For several years, we have included a seasonal photo prompt.  It asks us to take a photo in the same place during each season.  This challenge helps us to appreciate the changes of the seasonal rhythms.  Several years ago, I photographed the same place on the trail I run regularly.  I was surprised by the differences when I saw all four photos together because I live in Texas and we do not have the typical four seasons.

If you travel a lot, you may not be in the same place for each of the seasonal prompt days.  You could swap prompt days and photograph your chosen spot on a different day.  Or, you could show the season by the shoes you are wearing or vegetation wherever you are, or signs in your location.  It is fun to see the same place at various times through the year, but if if this doesn't work for you, be creative.
