Enlightening - providing or tending to provide knowledge, understanding, or insight

I have loved watching these lavendar clematis bloom through the spring.  I find their form beautiful from the point that their closed buds form on the vine until the last bit of color is spent.  I am struck by the fact that this one flower can look so different, yet is one in the same.   That same insight about humankind would go a long way to making this world a peaceful place.

As you go about your day, look for something that comes in many forms or stages.  Hopefully something will be lavendar!  What knowledge, understanding, or insight do you gain by studying, and photographing, these relationships?
