Have you been enjoying creating flatlays this week? I have an increased appreciation for those cooking magazine layouts that feature them! They inspired me to try one by taking a single item and dissecting it into its composite parts. My background is the operating table--I mean, cutting board! To fit the prompt, I curled my peels into little flourishes.

If you're looking for some inspiration, why not find a simple item and make a flatlay out of its components? It could be a flower, vegetable, or maybe something on your desk. Or just hunt down some things that flourish near you to display pleasingly.  At this time of year, I'll bet there's plenty!
