Take note of the lamps that you see today.  Do you know of one that might be a little unique or stand out for some reason?  Or, find an ordinary lamp and photograph it in a way that makes it shine (pun intended!)

This is a lamp in my living room.  I think it looks fancy and I really like the shadows it casts on our living room wall!  I converted to black and white to enhance the shadows a bit.
