Poised means "having a composed and self-assured manner" or "having a graceful and elegant bearing".

We were in Vienna during the Christmas season in 2019.  I was so taken with these beautiful light chandeliers that were hanging over this pedestrian mall area.  The golden light in the night sky is definitely graceful and elegant.
