I have a box of flowers that I have personally dried specifically to use in photography.  Dried flowers have so much character and can add visual interest to your photographs.  If you don't have a box of dried stuff like I do, look for a dried flower arrangement or even flowers that have dried on the stem in your neighborhood. You can photograph the flowers alone or make a scene to photograph.
