First up is Amy Jordan!
As Amy states in her Bio on the website she lives "on a sliver of sand know as the Outer Banks of North Carolina". Let's learn a little more about Amy!
Amy's Bio:
I'm known as the "memory keeper" which seems fitting since I'm usually the one wielding the camera. So when I stumbled upon a “photo of the day” challenge back in 2014 it seemed a natural fit! Little did I know just how transformative and addictive it would become! The fact that every day held photo possibilities was eye-opening in a way I never imagined...and all these years later I'm still amazed! My family and I live on a sliver of sand known as the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
How long have you been doing a 365 project?
I just completed my 10th year. I'm so thankful I stumbled upon Capture Your 365 all those years ago! I have so many photos I would never have taken if not for a prompt that I now cherish.
What are your favorite prompts and your not so favorite?
My favorites are the prompts that can go lots of directions; this group never ceases to amaze me on those days! My not so favorite is still life... the struggle is real when it comes to arranging objects together.
What is your go-to camera gear?
My Olympus mirrorless camera and my iPhone.
What do you want everyone to know about a 365 project?
Try not to treat it as a chore or another item on your to-do list. If you are new, give it time and before you know it you'll start noticing photo opportunities everywhere you look. I encourage you to embrace those moments and take the picture! You'll be glad you did!
Where is your favorite place to photograph?
My favorite is to simply stroll around with my camera. Sometimes, that's a quick loop around the yard; other times, it's a long walk on the beach or a trip to the arboretum.
And do you have a favorite subject?
That's a tough one! I'll go with the fencing since I have a lot of photos of it. I really love how each stretch is different and unique, just like our coast. My coffee addiction is a close runner-up!
