Some people might use a spoon to stir their tea. I usually do except for when I'm trying to photograph drops. I just keep dropping milk little by little and it seems to stir itself.
If you want to try and photograph drops, here are a few tips. Use a tripod to keep your camera still. Put your shutter on continuous shooting so that you enhance the chance of catching the drop at the perfect time. You'll need a fast shutter speed to ensure a crisp drop. I also use a spoon or something in the liquid to focus my camera on. I then lock the focus and shoot away.
If drops aren't calling to you today, what else might you be stirring?
