To be jubilant is to show great joy, satisfaction or triumph!  What a great word for Street Photography week!  

Street photography is a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public space.  The photographer is enabled by the publicness to take candid pictures. 

Street photography does not always have to lean toward the sadness of inner city life. There are a lot of joyful and jubilant scenes to find. Today is about the joy!  Instead of taking candid photographs of random strangers today, try and find a funky or unusual sign to document. If you find some jubilant strangers though, by all means take their picture!

I thought this retro sign on an 'old school' bowling alley was quite jubilant and I know the people bowling inside were experiencing joy!
