Turquoise takes its name from the gemstone, which comes from the French word for Turkish. Turquoise is a striking blend of pale blue and green. Symbolising calmness, clarity, and emotional balance, it merges the tranquility of blue with the growth of green.

Where cam you  find some turquoise when you are out and about? It is surprising how you see a colour when you start looking for it.  This tree has this beautiful turquoise coloured moss on it, which I thought makes for a great textured photo.
