For Christmas last year my niece gifted us a "Guess Where" Trip. It's a roadtrip that you start in one place and then open up an envelope to find out where to go next. They are great way to test out the local flavours. One of the stops was this little craft brewery in the middle of nowhere. It was less than 20 km from our house and neither of us had ever heard of it.
I used an 2.8 f-stop so that I would have a small depth of field. I wanted to have just the beer glass in focus. If you can't set your f-stop on your device, use portrait mode. It will help focus solely on your subject. By using a small depth of field you can also create some beautiful dappled light circles, or bokeh, in your background. Focus on some local flavours today!
