June's luminous early-summer weather in the northern hemisphere creates an idyllic setting for outdoor photography.
We are taking advantage of the year’s longest days to capture dreamlike scenes outside. The natural, warm sunlight of early summer enhances these soft tones, creating a glowing, romantic atmosphere that feels both airy and nostalgic. By shooting during the golden hour just before sunset, creators can capture a warm, hazy light that beautifully blends pink elements with the vibrant green surroundings. Using a shallow depth of field further elevates the image, turning the outdoor landscape into a soft, watercolor-like blur that makes the pink tones look effortlessly elegant and editorial.
As I was looking through Flickr, Facebook and Instagram to see what people had seen in the world during June, I picked out a mix of different styles and moments that stood out to me, not necessarily the fabulous photos, but the ones that caught my eye, we see a lot of the world through the eyes of 365 members, and it always brings me pleasure.
I wanted to highlight the outdoor scenes first, as everyone did an amazing job capturing natural light, stunning landscapes, and the beauty of the outdoors
What I love about these monochrome images is how the lack of colour really makes the details pop, drawing your eye straight to the lines, shapes, and patterns in nature.
Our group is grand beautiful lovely wonderful and amazing friendly people, who have adventures, take the challenge and that impacts all our lives. So says the flat lay, and it is so true.
And what would we all do without a cozy corner to sit in.
Lastly, I want to wrap up my picks of photos from 'pink week'. Going from just a hint of pink to hanging out pink.
Many thanks to everyone for sharing your photos with us. I hope you enjoy this month’s selections and find a few images that speak to you as well.
